With the recent developments reported on the news regarding the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus, we know our patients have some questions.

As essential parts of the US health care delivery system, we want to let you know that we remain as committed to ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and team members.  While always strictly adhering to and exceeding existing standards of infection control, we have further heightened these standards by incorporating additional personal protective equipment, and updating to the latest sterilization protocols that have been updated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dental visits are an essential part of achieving and maintaining optimum oral and overall health.  While our office is currently closed for routine care, in accordance with California Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control advisories, we are available for emergency consultations.  As soon as we are able, we will reach out to all of our patients who have pending treatment or other non-emergency dental procedures to get you back on track.  We are monitoring the situation closely, and will strive to keep you updated regularly.   Please check back with us on our website, or follow us on our office facebook page for further updates.

Being a novel (new) variant of the coronavirus, COVID-19 information can be hard to come by.  While not everything is known about this virus to date, the elderly and/or immunocompromised patients appear to be most at risk for developing a severe form of this infection.  To ensure the safety and health of you and your loved ones and everyone at our practice, patients and staff included, please reschedule your appointment if you or a member of  your household has a cough, fever and/or flu-like symptoms.  In addition, please reschedule your appointment if within the past 14 days, you have traveled to any areas that have shown high incidence of the coronavirus.

For our existing patients who are experiencing dental emergencies, we are available for consultation via our After-Hours Emergency Line.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation through this difficult and unprecedented time.  With some common sense measures, everyone’s safe and safety can be ensured to the highest degree possible.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office and we will be happy to assist you.
